Grant MacQuilkan spent many years as a CPA, advising business clients in the areas of tax, succession, and estate planning. After selling his CPA firm in the late 1990’s, he along with his long time business partner, Dave Parker, started buying and selling their own portfolio of businesses. Because of their experience with owning, managing, and selling, they have found a niche of helping many other business owners exit their companies or in some cases, buy other tuck-in companies prior to exit. His knowledge of tax strategies and his experience as a business advisor to many clients helped establish ICCG's transaction consulting as well as the governance of portfolio companies. Since 1998, Grant has served as CEO of several portfolio companies and serves as an advisor to several for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Grant has been married to Carol since 1985. They have four adult children (three married) and five grandchildren. They currently live in Richardson, Texas.
