Brad Kirkpatrick

In addition to being a business owner, Brad spent several years as a commercial lender, and knows what it takes to get a deal financed. Using this mix of skills, Brad has been providing M&A Advisor and consulting services since 2005 and has facilitated numerous ownership transitions.

In 2013, Brad merged his M&A practice with Cornerstone Business Services. His company, Midwest Business Advisors, continues to provide small business consulting and accounting services in the Iowa market. Brad has strong experience in agriculture and construction but has sold several companies in the manufacturing, distribution and services industries.

A seasoned business-owner, Brad has twice built successful operations before selling his interest to business partners. He has 14 years of commercial lending experience and now sits on the board of directors for a $250MM bank. He is also part of the Large Loan Credit Committee for loans in excess of $1MM. Brad has also served as a CFO in the construction and real estate development fields.

He holds a management degree from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Iowa. Brad has earned designation as a Certified Business intermediary through the IBBA and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Iowa.
