Daniel T. Smale

Mr. Smale specializes in manufacturing, health care and technology-related companies. He divides his time between transactions on the buy-side, the sell-side and private debt. He is also the author of the Firm’s due diligence methodology and private equity source database.

Prior to 2001, Mr. Smale was a partner with Accenture, where he was responsible for “Change Management” with automotive and industrial equipment clients around the world. Some of Mr. Smale’s work was featured in Accenture’s IPO circular for its unique approach to reducing costs and increasing client revenues. Mr. Smale has also been granted U.S. Patent No. 6,990,465, which is a system that Mr. Smale developed for former client, to bring their ideas from concept to market faster and with lower engineering costs.

Married to Janice with 4 children. Competitive sailor, runner and tennis player. Lifelong resident of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Former Chairman Commodore and Treasurer of The Grosse Pointe Club.
