Mr. McCormack is founder and managing partner of Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors (MMCA), a boutique middle market investment banking firm. He specializes in representation of buyers and sellers in merger & acquisition transactions and business valuations.

Experience
Mr. McCormack has prepared more than 200 business valuations of closely-held companies. His experience includes valuing capital stock for closely-held companies involving merger/acquisition transactions, controlling and minority interests for ESOPs, buyouts, recapitalizations, estate planning, and transaction analysis. Mr. McCormack has also prepared valuations of closely held businesses for the purpose of SBA financing and meeting the SBA SOP requirements.

Employment
Prior to founding Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors, Mr. McCormack was president and chief executive officer of Sun Bancorp, Inc., a $1.1 billion bank holding company. During his 20+ year commercial banking career, which began at CoreStates, Mr. McCormack held numerous positions. He began his banking career in commercial lending and moved into increasingly senior positions including senior lender, chief operating officer and president/chief executive officer. During his banking career, Mr. McCormack initiated and led numerous acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. McCormack is also an Adjunct Professor of the MBA program at Alvernia University.
